![]() ![]() The first shot scored 40k, getting all six of the piled pumpkins and, with some fortunate debris fallout, popping the fourth and sixth pigs (counting from left to right). For my score, I used the video’s basic method. I’ve followed your strats myself and you are definitely considered a long-time legit flinger, and I don’t think anyone is considering that you purposely entered a non-legit score, but the 132 is IMHO literally impossible.I was a little dismayed that there were no alternate strategies posted! I had hoped that someone would have found a magic bullet to make this level a little easier. I wound up at the point where I just wiped the game and started over.Īnd this is definitely a frustrating level! I could easily see any player tossing bird one and then a shockwave, getting that score (I darn near matched identically by doing so), and 6 years later forgetting having used a PU in what now would be considered a moment of weakness but then would have been perfectly fine. I too started entering scores and found that several were “Top Scores” but guess what? Back then Rovio did not have any indicator after-the-fact that a score was or was not achieved using a PU. I found the Nest at first because I was just trying to find out what 3-star thresholds and stumbled upon it with a google search. No reason not to, right? Who knew what a purist I would eventually become. When I first started playing, before I knew of the Nest, I did occassionaly use power-ups, especially on a particularly frustrating level after a couple of blue mongos. The key seems to be getting the hollow stone blocks to fall and destroy as much wood and glass as I was in the same quandary sometime past. Depending on the debris fall the aiming of this YB will vary from near the bottom to coming through the top of the stack of blocks. It the little stone plank fell, then aim the bird in that area and one may have a chance of getting the right pig on the second bird.Ģ.3 Yellow Bird into the remaining wood and glass hollow blocks on the right to get the last pig. Second technique is to go a little higher than the video and yielded results in the 104K+ range.Ģ.1 Yellow Bird straight into the vertical single wood plank and it should cause the right side of the structure to collapse.Ģ.2 Yellow Bird straight into the vertical stone plank to knock it out of the way and clear the path to get the far right pig. It takes a number of tries to get the three birds to hit in the right spots and the debris to fall in the player’s favor.Ģ. The ABN video above yielded 104-106k+ in scores. ![]() There seems to be at least two ways to obtain an above average score for this level:ġ. I’ve also managed a 4th and 7th place in Trick or Treat, so there’s just something about these levels that fits my style of play. This is the kind of score that could may, and one that I might very well challenge, so I’m sending a screen shot to AMslimfordy. I’ve had a high score on ABo and one on Rio in the past, but they didn’t last. I’m not sure just where I hit, and I haven’t been able to repeat it (though I’ve gotten close), but the second bird caused everything to collapse resulting in a score of 116,100! I think that the highest stone square on the right fell over to the right and got the straggler. ![]() ![]() I then tried this method, but aiming a little higher as sunbicook had suggested above. I came close to doing it with two birds a couple of times, but that far right one on the ground always survived. I was sending my first bird in through the first vertical piece of wood (not part of a box structure) in the main tower because that got the best penetration. I always try to do my best before coming to these walkthroughs, and the best I could get on my own was just under 103k, only achieving three stars about every 50th try. ![]()
